With the weather so warm we urge you to ensure you take steps to help keep your pets cool and to prevent the onset of heatstroke.
Our top 3 tips are:
1. Walk your dogs early in a morning or late at night when it is coolest.
2. Dogs and cats sweat though their paws! This is important to know if you need to help them cool down. Letting them stand in cool water will help or using cold flannels on their paws for those that don't like water.
3. Ensure your pet has a plenty of water. It can be a good idea to take water out with you on your dog walks too.
